At the Templestowe Veterinary Clinic we understand the importance of early Puppy and Kitten socialisation and habit formation.

Learning begins with our young pets as soon as you pick them up and bring them home for the first time. It is these early weeks of life that have an amazing influence on the outcomes of some puppies and kittens behaviour and habit formation, which will go on and form the basis for a healthy, happy and balanced life.

We believe Puppy and Kitten school should be positive reward based training. Our puppy school instructor is Delta accredited and is more than happy to go through and assist new owners with any questions or concerns they might have with their new family member.

We can provide you with information on every thing from vaccinations, flea and worm treatment right through to behaviour, toilet training and general manners, like sit and stay.

We look forward to developing a strong bond and being a resource for you and your pet from a very early age through to their senior years.

Our Puppy Pre-school classes are held at the clinic and are available for puppies under 16 weeks of age. These classes are held once a week for 4 weeks.

It is important that your puppy has had at least their first vaccination.
